Starting out

When you first enter the Virtual Campus, you'll see personalized content corresponding to your profile, based on the courses you are taking. If you plan to enrol on an official bachelor's degree or university master's degree, you'll initially have an admission profile, with access to everything you need to know about the UOC. After completing enrolment, we'll activate your student profile, which will give you access to the full range of resources.

If you have been admitted to a lifelong learning programme, vocational training or profession-focused course, you will have direct access to the Campus and the resources it offers as soon as you enrol.

What will you find?

On the Campus you'll have access to all the pages and resources you need for studies, administrative procedures, contacting other members of the University community or addressing any doubts. The Campus is structured in five main areas:

#1 Classrooms
Here you can access each course's classroom. Each classroom has different sections and resources: the Course plan, where you can see the description of the course and how assessment is conducted; the Announcements section, where the teaching staff post messages; and Modules, where you can see the continuous assessment activities and the deadlines. In the classroom you can also check your grades, take part in forums, or get in touch with the teaching staff or your fellow students.

2# Personal area
This is the part of the Campus where you'll find all the key information about your time as a UOC student: your academic record, the programme of study that you're doing, the learning resources from your courses, etc. It offers you information on your payments, any certificates that you've requested, and you can also update personal details or change the language used in the messages that the UOC sends you. You can choose from English, Catalan and Spanish (the UOC's official working languages).

#3 Procedures
This section takes you to administrative procedures such as enrolment, certificate requests, access to grants and discounts, applications for credit recognition based on prior studies or professional experience, and many more which can be found with a simple search.

#4 Library
Link to the website of the UOC Library, where you can request books on loan, check the catalogue, access the UOC O2 repository or ask for assistance from a librarian specializing in the relevant area.

#5 More UOC
Learn more about your university and take part in university life. Find out about students' representative bodies, which cooperation projects we support, how to take part in university sports championships or what courses are currently on offer. There's also a section on employment, where you can see a jobs board or get personalized career guidance.

The Campus also has a news and interview section to keep up to date with the latest goings-on at the UOC. And you'll find all the apps you need to help you organize your schedule and communicate with teaching staff and fellow students, for example your email and calendar.

Our Help Service should provide prompt and useful responses to your questions. The Help Service page is linked in the menu at the top of the Virtual Campus home page and offers a form for sending queries, searchable FAQs ordered by topic, and an area where you can check the status of your existing enquiries.

Ways to personalize the Campus

On the Campus home page you can:

• Configure your modules, getting more by clicking on Add information, dragging them to change their positions, or changing their colours.
• Select the Campus language, with a drop-down menu that you’ll find in Options in the top right corner of the screen. You can choose between English, Catalan and Spanish. For vocational training and profession-focused courses, the Campus interface will only be available in Spanish.
