International mobility

International mobility

Would you like an international university experience? You have the opportunity to study or do an internship abroad. And as the UOC promotes diversity and inclusive and sustainable cultural exchanges, virtual mobility gives you all the advantages of experiences with students from other countries, without having to travel.

How can you study abroad?

If you would like to join a mobility programme to study at foreign universities, the UOC offers you two alternatives:

  • Grants for Erasmus+ Studies: in this call, students can take higher education courses in various countries in Europe. These stays last between three and five months for bachelor's and master's degrees, and can be carried out in a face-to-face or blended format (on-site with an online component). You will find all the information about the host universities and the areas of study in the section Procedures / Grants and financial aid / Erasmus+ Studies grants.
  • Online international mobility: exchanges of experiences with students and teaching staff from all over the world take place online, with no need to travel. You can take one or more courses in the online classrooms of foreign higher education institutions, and obtain recognition for credits passed in your academic record for the programme you're studying at the UOC. As this mobility is two-way, you will also have the opportunity to share the UOC's virtual classroom with classmates from other countries. To find out more and discover which universities you can study at, take a look at Procedures / Virtual mobility.
How can you do an internship abroad?

If you want to put the knowledge learned into practice in countries in the European Union, you can apply for one of the Erasmus+ Traineeship grants to do a curricular or non-curricular internship. You will have to propose the centre, organization, company or institution where you want to do the internship, and the stays can be carried out in a face-to-face or blended format (on-site with an online component). Find out about the calls available at Procedures / Grants and financial aid / Erasmus+ Traineeship grants.

There are also numerous programmes, institutions and agencies around the world that offer international internships. You can find more information at Procedures / Resources for finding international internships.
