STUDENT GUIDE 2024/2025

The teaching staff

Our teaching staff is made up of experts in their fields. They take care of designing and leading the educational process, as well as student assessment and engagement. They are responsible for providing you with personalized support and guidance throughout your learning.

What types of teachers are there?

Our teaching staff provide you with personalized support and continual guidance throughout your studies, helping to create strong bonds and close links with the educational community.

There are two teaching profiles, which work together to ensure a high-quality learning experience:

  • Teaching and research staff: they coordinate the course and make sure that the teaching reaches a high standard. They design the content, curate the learning resources, provide innovative situations and environments for learning, and coordinate the course instructors to ensure the quality and effectiveness of the learning process. For vocational training courses, this role is covered by the programme director.
  • Course instructors: directed and coordinated by the teaching and research staff, they guide and monitor your learning process in each course. They are also responsible for your engagement in the classroom and provide you with feedback on your activities. For vocational training courses there is also a course instructor, who carries out the same role.
How do UOC course instructors support and guide you? The best way to find out is to hear it from the course instructors themselves.

In addition to the teaching staff, another key person who will support your learning at the UOC is your tutor.
