UOC discounts on "4 Years From Now"

The event on innovation and entrepreneurship at the World Mobile Congress

The UOC has signed a collaboration agreement with the Fundació Mobile World Capital Barcelona which allows, among other goals, to offer discounts on ticket prices to get access at the 4 Years From Now (4YFN). In addition, there will be a special price for those members of the UOC community willing to have an exhibition space designed to provide visibility to their technological projects or start-ups. The 4YFN, held in Barcelona from March 2nd to March 5th, 2015, is an event within the World Mobile Congress (WMC) engaged in disruptive innovation in the mobile ecosystem and focused in building lasting relationships between ideas and start-ups, investors and corporations. The 2015 edition will focus on three highly current topics,  Disrupted by Mobile, IoT (Internet of Things) and Digital Media; and each of them will have their respective competition of start-ups.

Both the tickets -which will grant free entrance on March 5th to the WMC- and space rental, members of the UOC community will pay 15% and 10% less, respectively, than other attendees. Considered by the New York Times as the most innovative technological showcase in the last WMC edition, the 2015 4YFN is an excellent opportunity for networking, fully linked with an inspiring program where you can enjoy the current gurus in the mobile sector. 

The UOC at the 4YFN

The University will be present at the event with their own space where you can learn about some of their projects, such as their first spin-off, Open Evidence, as well as round tables and workshops on topics related to the 4YFN such as the Internet of things, big data, business commerce, content security and privacy, ageing communication and media, 5G in mobile networks, bitcoins, elearning or gamification, among others.
