The UOC and another universities, technological centres, start-ups and entrepreneurs, SMEs and large companies, will be leading agents
22@Network bcn association announces the organization of "22@ Innovation Summer Meetings 2014" during the 17th of July in MediaTIC building at Barcelona’s 22@ district.
The conference is organized to show the progress of the local innovation system based on the collaboration between the different actors: universities, technology centres, start-ups and entrepreneurs, SMEs and large enterprises.
UOC, Pompeu Fabra University, UPC School of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, Barcelona Design Centre BAU, Barcelona Digital Technological Centre and the Knowledge Innovation Market Barcelona Foundation participate and collaborate in the event.
The program offers four sessions (under the generic title EXPERIENCING, ACTING, LEARNING and INNOVATING) tackling different economic sectors such as retail, education, finance and health, with the common factor of innovation and technology.
Each session will include the participation of suppliers and seekers of innovation and technology, with particular emphasis on specific issues such as:
- Solving a real problem or challenge.
- Trends in research and innovation in each of the fields and business sectors.
- Future challenges.
- The nature of the relationship between agents and their evolution.
The sessions take the form of dialogues between the different actors involved in the innovation cycle, so that the contents are an update of the state of technology and business models, but are mainly an excuse to illustrate and define the dynamics of local innovation, the problems faced and possible solutions proposed for each case.
