Since 28 June until 28 July, Dr Guri-Rosenblit has joined the center as eLC Research Fellow. She is also member of the recently created eLC Scientific Committee. In the framework of this collaboration, she will offer a seminar in which she will examine 10 current challenges facing open/distance universities.

Prof. Sarah Guri-Rosenblit is the Director of International Academic Outreach and the head of Graduate Studies in Education at the Open University of Israel. In the last fifteen years most of her studies have been conducted in the field of comparative research of higher education systems, distance education and e-learning. She was selected in 2005/6 as one of the 30 New Century Scholars in the Fulbright Program on: 'Higher Education in the 21st Century: Global Challenge and National Response'. Since 2003 she has been a member of the Scientific Committee of Europe and North America in the UNESCO Forum of Higher Education, Research and Knowledge.
