The Universitat Oberta de Catalunya is inviting you to take part in the Open Education Week organised by the Open Courseware Consortium, the aim of which is to raise awareness on open education around the world. This year it will take place between 11th and 15th of March.

This edition, the UOC joins the initiative driven by the Working group on Open Education and OER, with the cooperation of the IT, Multimedia and Telecommunications Department, e-Learn Center, Educational Technology and Virtual Library, with the support of the Vice President for Innovation and Research. Therefore, various materials have been collected on open education and open educational resources (OER): innovative teaching materials videos, open dialogues between experts, a dossier on OER, faculty projections on the role of open education in the future... Also, it has been scheduled an on site training workshop and an openvirtual classroom, organized by the UNESCO Chair in Education & Technology for Social Change among other events.
