This webminar introduces the “OportUnidad” European Project and its online training in order to look for faculty feedback and arouse interest in the course. OportUnidad aims at implementing Open Educational Practices in Latin-American Higher Education. More than 60 universities developed a common OER-OER agenda. The training, to be delivered in September 2013, addresses faculty and instructional designers, focuses OER use and sharing, and promotes open practices while meeting the objectives of the agenda.

At this workshop aimed at UOC teaching and administration staff, we will explain what the open educational resources (OER) movement is, we will look at the most important aspects to consider and we will speak of the licences available for publishing open teaching material. We will end the workshop with a practical session, uploading teaching materials to the UOC institutional repository.
