International Workshop on Democratic Regeneration and the Fight against Corruption

The Open University of Catalonia in collaboration with the University of Barcelona and with the support of Obra Social “la Caixa” and the Internet Interdisciplinary Institute (IN3), are organizing an International Workshop on Democratic Regeneration and the Fight against Corruption to be held in Barcelona next October, 22nd and 23rd. The aim of the International Workshop is to analyze from a comparative perspective different tools to prevent corruption and to promote good governance. In particular, several experts from different European countries will discuss about transparency, public ethics, conflicts of interest, political parties funding, lobbies, democratic quality, good governance and good administration and accountability mechanisms, among other related issues.
