The UOC's Economics and Business Department, the MeL (Management & eLearning) research group and the University's eLearn Center present the III Workshop in Business, Economics and e-Learning, which will be held in Barcelona on 23 October.

The workshop is intended to foster exchanges of ideas and experiences involving the field in which business and economics meet e-learning, a crossing of paths that encompasses the following subject areas:
 

The focus for the 2015 workshop is the online teacher:
 

  • Analysis of the teaching roles in e-learning
  • Tutoring
  • The competence profile of online teachers
  • Motivation and commitment of online teachers
  • Teams of online teachers
  • Models for contracting and compensating online teachers
  • Professional development and training of online teachers

E-learning for economics and business studies disciplines at any level of education:
