This workshop is part of the series "Thursdays with the OSRT"

Last June 28 took place in the UOC's 22@ office a new session of the "Thursdays with the OSRT" series. The Research and Transfer Support Office (OSRT) organized a different session than the previous ones, consisting of a workshop with an international authority in writing proposals in English for European calls. Gary Bridgeman, training manager at Hodos Consulting, was the speaker of the workshop Writing Effective Proposals in English for FP7.

Hodos Consulting is a Brussels-based consultancy specialized in RDI programmes promoted by the European Union. The European Comission, located in the Belgian capital, funds RDI projects through many different programmes that compound the Framework Programme. Research and innovation groups from all over the EU participate in its calls and this is an opportunity to develop major projects that involve the collaboration of researchers from different European countries.

Videos and presentation
Gary Bridgeman explained the key points to be aware of when writing a proposal, how to prepare the different parts, how to select the partners or what to avoid for increasing our successfulness for the European Comission to approve the project, amongst many other details.
