Two Grant Plans to promote research and innovation are being published for 2011, promoted by the Vice-Rector?s Office for Research and Innovation and the management of IN3.

The Vice-rector's Office for Research and Innovation, as part of the Own Research Programme, is publishing the first grant application process for 2011. There are three specific types of grants:

Grants for research stays, with a budget of €10,000. The beneficiaries of this type of grant are all lecturers and staff dedicated to R+D at the UOC. 

 

  • mobility grants, with a budget of €8,000. 
  • and grants for publishing results, with a budget of €12,000.

For these last two programmes, the beneficiaries are all lecturers and staff dedicated to R+D activities at the UOC who are not attached to the IN3 research centre or the eLearn Center.

For its part, IN3 is publishing the first application process for the 2011 grant plan as part of its actions aimed at promoting and supporting research. The beneficiaries of these grants are IN3 researchers, research groups recognised by IN3 and PhD students on work placements. Specifically, IN3 is inviting applications for these two programmes:

 

  • mobility grants, with a budget of €10,000.
  • and grants for publishing results, with a budget of €5,000.

The group of IN3 researchers is made up of research staff from research groups recognised by IN3, IN3 research programmes and research staff attached only to IN3 - fellows, its own researchers and resident lecturers.

The periods which must be borne in mind for both grants plans are as follows:

 

  • Grant applications: from 28 February to 25 March 2011. 
  • Decisions on applications received: from 8 April 2011.
