Rachel Palmén (GenTIC), organizes a Special Session at the STI 2023

Rachel Palmén, senior research at IN3’s Gender and ICT (GenTIC) and project coordinator of the INSPIRE project, will participate at the 27th International Conference on Science, Technology and Innovation Indicators (STI 2023), organized by Centre for Science and Technology Studies (CWTS) in collaboration with the European Network of Indicator Developers (ENID), that will be held September 27-29 in Leiden.

Palmén organizes, on Friday, September 29, at 16:00 h (CEST), the «Special Session: Policies for inclusive gender equality in R&I». This hybrid session intents to initiate a multistakeholder dialogue leading to a consensus on how to best monitor inclusion of (intersectional, e.g., age, geography, language etc) gender perspectives in science knowledge-making to support improvements in quality of outcomes for women, men, and other significant but so far underrepresented in knowledge groups.
