Marta Aymerich, UOC Vice President for Strategic Planning and Research, is to take part in Dialogues on the Horizon (Scanning): Four-stranded Dialogues, which will be held on 16 May at Barcelona's Palau Reial de Pedralbes.
Coinciding with the UNESCO World Higher Education Conference (WHEC2022) that is to take place in Barcelona from 16 to 20 May, the Government of Catalonia's Department for Research and Universities is organizing this event on the challenges, transformation and impact of higher education. The event will be attended by representatives from the 12 Catalan universities, alongside other stakeholders from the higher education system and international visitors attending the UNESCO conference.
There will be four open dialogues between two people, experts from the fields of artificial intelligence, research, gender, STEM and inclusion. They will cover topics such as inclusion, citizen science, universities and territory, global health, knowledge and dialogue. Eight people will offer their perspective on the challenges and opportunities for a high-quality higher education for the future.
Marta Aymerich will take part in Dialogue 1 on AI and research, women and STEM, alongside UPC alum Mireia de Gràcia.
