UOC President at EDUC@TED 2021

UOC President Josep A. Planell will be taking part in the panel titled "Strategy and Management for the Future of Universities" at the upcoming EDUC@TED 2021 event, whose overarching theme this year is "Transforming Higher Education: Quality, Learning and Technology in the Wake of the Pandemic".

In addition to Planell, several other presidents from the RedUNETE network have been invited to discuss how they envision higher education in the near future and what transformations in strategy and management we should expect. The Colombian Vice-Minister of Higher Education, José Maximiliano Gómez Torres, will be moderating.

EDUC@TED 2021 will consist of plenary sessions and workshops that encourage debate on higher education's current transformation, considering the goals and challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. The main themes will be the institutional and classroom changes triggered by COVID-19.

The panel will take place online on 31 August from 4:30 p.m. to 6:15 pm (CEST).
