GlobaLS' Writing Seminar: "Global and regional circulation of Georgian literature"

The IN3's Global Literary Studies Research Group (GlobaLS) cordially invites you to its last writing seminar of the 2020/2021 academic year, which will take place on Friday 16 July from 12 to 2 p.m. via Google Meet. Running the seminar will be GlobaLS predoctoral researcher Ana Kvirikashvili.

Writing seminars are gatherings in which attendants, who have previously read a part of an ongoing doctoral thesis, ask questions, give their input and suggest ways to improve the research. The discussions are guided by the doctoral student to whom the thesis belongs.

Program

Kvirikashvili will present a part of chapter 4. Global and Regional Circulation of Georgian Literature of her thesis "The Circulation of Georgian Literature: Between the Local and the Global (1995-2020)". Specifically, the seminar will focus on the chapter's introduction and first sub-chapter, 4.1. Mapping 30 Years of Circulation of a Less-Translated Literature: Georgian Books Abroad since 1991.
