On the coming 2 December, the vice president for Globalization and Cooperation, Àngels Fitó, will take part in the Symposium on Non-Financial Reporting organized by the Royal European Academy of Doctors (RAED) and the Association of Chartered Accountants of Catalonia (CCJCC)
The aim of this symposium is to reflect, among other issues, on the following questions: What is the connection between corporate social responsibility (CSR) and the 2030 Agenda? How is non-financial reporting related to the sustainable development goals (SDGs)? What are the generally accepted international benchmarks in relation to non-financial reporting?
The vice president will take part in the debate on the value of non-financial reporting in different public and private sectors. This debate will be moderated by Antoni Gómez, President of the CCJCC, and will include as speakers Josep Maria Sánchez, Director-General of Financial Policy, Insurance and Treasury of the Government of Catalonia, and Montserrat Casanovas, Professor of Financial Economics and Accounting at the UB and Numerary Academician of the RAED.
The symposium will be organized in hybrid format from the facilities of the Association of Chartered Accountants of Catalonia.
