Would you like to attend the final phase of the «Present your Thesis in 4 Minutes» contest 2020?
The Catalan Foundation for Research and Innovation (FCRi), with the support of the Government of Catalonia, is organizing the final phase of the contest in which 11 Catalan universities will participate. In this edition, in accordance with the health measures established because of the Covid-19, a reduced event will take place with only the presence of the 11 finalists and the jury.
However, anyone interested can follow it online through the FCRi YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/fcrivideo
During the event a link will be provided to a website to vote for your favourite candidate (this year all the finalists are women).

The Doctoral School is glad to invite you to this event, in case you are interested in attending this final phase to give your support to our candidate Mar Martínez (you can see here the recently published interview and the video with her presentation for the first phase of the contest).
The contest's goal is to communicate research to society and stimulate participants' interest in disseminating science.
The candidates will present their research in language that can be understood by the general public and with the added challenge of explaining it in 4 minutes or less.
The aim is to encourage doctoral students to improve their abilities and techniques for conveying and disseminating knowledge in simple, easy-to-understand terms.
