Webinar: "Regionalismos y transferencias culturales en la Europa del siglo XX"

The ERC StG Social Networks of the Past project is organizing a webinar on Regionalismos y transferencias culturales en la Europa del siglo XX to be given by Professor Xosé Manoel Núñez Seixas from the University of Santiago de Compostela. He is a specialist in the comparative study of European and Iberian nationalisms and recently published Patriotas transnacionales, Estudios sobre nacionalismos y transferencias culturales en la Europa del siglo XX (2019), and Regionalism and Modern Europe. Identity Construction and Movements from 1890 to the Present Day (2019) with Eric Storm.

The webinar will take place on Friday 26 June from 9.30 a.m. to 12 noon via Google Meet. The discussion will be based on these main texts:

1. Introduction and Conclusions from Regionalism and Modern Europe. Identity Construction and Movements from 1890 to the Present Day, with E. Storm, London, Bloomsbury, pp. 1-25 and 343-354.

2. "¿Negar o reescribir la Hispanidad? Los Nacionalismos subsestatales ibéricos y América Latina, 1898-1936", chap. VII of Patriotas transnacionales..., Madrid, Cátedra, pp. 155-187.
