Who is the personal data controller?
Processing the personal data obtained through this tool will be the responsibility of the Fundació per a la Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (hereinafter the "FUOC"), with tax identification number G-60667813 and registered address at Rambla del Poblenou, 154-156, Barcelona. For what purpose do we process your personal data? For how long?
The personal data collected in this form will be processed for the purpose of managing the registration and signing up process in the applicant area of the UOC's staff selection platform, and for the registration of the applications received.
Furthermore, any data you decide to provide may be processed to fulfil the legal obligations established in Articles 40.2 and 42.1 of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2013 of the General Law on the Rights and Social Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities in relation to complying with the disabled employee quota and putting appropriate workplace adaptation measures in place.
The FUOC will store the blocked personal data for as long as any legal liabilities may arise from it. When these liabilities no longer apply, the personal data will be deleted permanently.
What is the legal basis for processing the data?
The legal basis for the processing of the personal data relating to the candidate signing up and registration process and the management of registrations is the implementation of pre-contractual measures; and the legal basis of processing in relation to calculating the proportion of disabled workers and taking the appropriate measures is the fulfilment of a legal obligation.
Consent may be withdrawn at any time through the means stipulated in the "What are my rights?" section of this document.
What security measures have been implemented to protect personal data?
The FUOC will process the personal data with absolute confidentiality. In addition, it has implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to guarantee the security of the data and to prevent the destruction, loss or unlawful access or tampering thereof. When implementing these measures, the UOC has taken into account criteria including the scope, context or purpose of the processing, the state of the art and the current risks.
Does the FUOC disclose personal data to third parties?
The UOC will disclose personal data to third parties if it is necessary to comply with the legal obligations that may be applicable in each case.
Are there other organizations that may have access to your personal data in order to assist the FUOC in tasks related with the purposes of the processing?
The FUOC works with a number of service providers that assist it in the performance of various tasks relating to the processing of your personal data.
What are your rights?
You have the following rights with respect to the protection of personal data:

In order to exercise these rights, simply send a message to the Fundació per a la Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, either by email to fuoc_pd@uoc.edu or by post to Rambla del Poblenou, 154-156, Barcelona, stating as reference "Data protection". The request must include a copy of your National ID card or another equivalent identification document and the minimum content set forth in the applicable legislation. If your request does not meet the specified requirements, you may be asked to amend it. There is no charge for exercising these rights, although a fee may be charged when the requests are unfounded, excessive or repetitive.
