Behaviour design - How behavioural insights shape design of products, environments and services

‘Behaviour design’ is a social design theory used to influence human behaviour that is rooted in the disciples of Behavioural Economics, Cognitive Psychology and Political Theory. This lecture encourages the attendees to reach across disciplines, to be innovative with design and investigate a range of possible solutions when solving design and choice architecture problems. Theories and methods will illustrate how design can be used to influence and change behaviour, and how moving from value creating design to measurable effects and cost benefit analysis creates stronger and more sustainable business cases and strategies.

Sille Krukow is the founder and chief behavioural designer of Krukow, a Copenhagen based consultancy, specializing in behavioural design based on behavioural economics, nudging & cognitive psychology.  Sille is an expert in the field of designing human behaviour, helping companies and institutions optimize their processes across all platforms, through innovative choice architecture designs.  Overseeing a team of behavioural analysts, managers and planners, Krukow works across all types of industries, with a wide portfolio of clients.  She will make you think of the choices we make in our every day lives, and how it is possible to affect them in every conceivable way, without even realizing it is happening.
