Next Monday 14th there will take place a workshop on New Tools for Online Teaching and Learning at the IN3 building (sala d'Actes), in Castelldefels.
The workshop will focus on a very specific topic: content management, and in particular, on management and production of Learning Objects.
In the first part of the seminar the professors Jeff Miller, Karen Belfer and Mark Bullen, from Distance Education and Technology will talk about their experience at UBC. UOC teachers Lourdes Guàrdia (Psichology and Educational Science) and Julià Minguillón (Computing and Multimedia), Montse Guitert (Computing and Multimedia) and Joan Campàs (Humanities and Philology) will present their research proposals, afterwards. Their presentations will be followed by discussion on the mentioned topics among participants and attendees.
The workshop is addressed in particular to teachers and researchers interested in the design and content management in virtual learning environments.
Likewise, teachers Miller, Bullen and Belfer will be available on Monday 14th in the afternoon for those of you who, considering future collaborations, are interested in discussing in depth issues around the innovations in the online training design and content management.
