Faculty of Arts and Humanities
The Humanities at the UOC use new technologies to provide a global and critical understanding of the social and cultural reality from the integrated and complementary points of view of the different disciplines.
The courses are cross-disciplinary and incorporate a range of subjects (art, history, philosophy, literature, social sciences, etc.) so as to ensure students gain the tools to understand contemporary society and culture, and the methodological and analytical, and information handling and management skills needed to get on in their professional careers.
Also, our Centre for Modern Languages offers language courses.
Aware of the fact that everything is more than just the sum of the parts, Crea has been developed to act as a hub for the university's academic community working in the field of creativity. Its university-wide structure aims to foster and stress the importance interdisciplinary practice.

Dictatorships & Democracies (D&D) is an open-access online journal, published in Barcelona by the UOC and the Carles Pi i Sunyer Foundation, focusing on social and intellectual movements and democratization from a comparative and transnational perspective.
A Relational Perspective on Culture and Society
Promoted by the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, it publishes articles of reflection or research results that analyse transformations to humanities and social sciences in the digital age.
Catalan literature online
An initiative of the UOC, Ramon Llull Institute and the Institute of Catalan Arts of the Catalan Government to promote Catalan literature.
