Pastora Martínez Samper, Commissioner for International Action, will participate this Wednesday, September 6, in the meeting Academic and Scientific Career in Spain, organized by ANECA that will take place at the Menéndez Pelayo International University.
She will be one of the speakers at the round table Ethics in the research and reform of the evaluation, together with Mrs. Ms. Pilar Rico, head of the Open Access, Repositories and Journals Unit of FECYT; Ms. Eva Méndez from the Carlos III University of Madrid and member of the Steering Board of CoARA (Coalition for Advancing Research Assessment), and moderated by Mr. José Luis Aznarte, Director of ANECA’s Education and Institutions Assessment Division
ANECA proposes to dedicate this space to debate this issue within the framework of other international experiences and against the backdrop of recent legislative changes, the assumption of new research principles and practices and the reform of its evaluation.
To this end, aspects such as research ethics, scientific policy planning, open science, the social impact of research activity, new systems and evaluation criteria of faculty and research staff, and the need to take special care of early stages of the academic career will be addressed.
