Meeting with representatives from Universidad del Norte (UNINORTE)

UOC President Josep A. Planell will meet with a delegation from Universidad del Norte (UNINORTE) led by the university's president, Adolfo Meisel.

 

The meeting will have a dual aim: i) to start work on an advisory process to help improve UNINORTE's online educational model with a global approach that covers, among other aspects, the educational, organizational and service areas, and ii) to start mobility programmes for bachelor's degree courses – and possibly also master’s degree courses – for students at both universities.

 

The members of the UNINORTE delegation will include Joachim Hahn, Academic Vice President; Alma Lucía Diazgranados, Vice President for Administration and Finance; Fadia Khouri, Director of the Centre for Teaching Excellence (CEDU); Edna Manotas, Coordinator of the Digital Educational Material Design and Communications Unit (UCDM); Elisama Josefina Dugarte Coll, Director of the Centre for Continuing Education (CEC); and John Jairo Florez, Director of Computer Technology and Telecommunications (DTIC).

 

On behalf the UOC, the meeting will be attended by the President, and Pastora Martínez, Vice President for Globalization and Cooperation; Sílvia Sivera, Director of the eLearn Center (eLC), and Mildred Guinart, Director, and Tamara Martínez, project manager, from the eLC's Knowledge Generation and Transfer unit.
