#MetaOER is a project of the UOC UNESCO Chair in e-Learning devoted to the promotion and awareness of the Open Educational Resources (OER), using Social Tagging to identify key open resources on open educational resources and create a basic collection with them in an Open Repository. The final stage of the project consists on creating an script to automate the introduction of the resources into the repository. |
In 2011, at the Open University of Catalonia ( UOC), have been developed two APLICA innovation projects related to axis 2 of the UOC on teaching materials/content management. The first project, "Authorship model for Open Learning Resource for versioning (RAO)", led by Professor Marcelo Fabian, and "Creating and Editing educational materials in the cloud", led by Professor Enric Mor.
Both projects share a common tool for MediaWiki consisting of a set of templates that allow authoring with a didactic treatment. It has been added also a set of plugins to automate the publication of such content on the Internet and to generate multiple outputs and formats for these files (pdf, ebook, web, wiki). This tool is explained in the video.
