Professor at the UOC

Ph. D. in Educational Sciences (Ramon Llull University) and Master in Business Administration (MBA - ESADE Business School). Graduate in Mediaeval History and Professor at the University of Barcelona. He has taught in several levels of the educational system and at the university, especially in the field of school organisation and education in values, and he is currently a teacher on the UOC e-learning Master and on the PhD Programme on the Information Society, e-learning field, at the UOC. He has been director and advisor/consultant for both centres and a teacher trainer.

As an IN3 (Internet Interdisciplinary Institute) researcher at the UOC and member of the Education and Network Society (ENS) research group, he runs and collaborates on research projects into e-learning focused in educational organisations and e-learning use. He is coordinator of the UOC Unesco Chair in e-learning and Academic Director of the International Seminar "Leading the University in a Knowledge Society".

He has published several books, the most recent are: La organización ética de la escuela y la transmisión de valores (1999); Aprenentatge i virtualitat (1999); Aprender en la virtualidad (2000). He also participates with articles in a number of specialist publications and gives lectures and courses in Spanish and Latin American universities.
