Analyses the impact of the use of ICTs on society in general and on the phenomena which accompany the emergence and consolidation of a networked society. This line of research pays special attention to the analysis of the use of the Internet in, among others, education, the home, business, public administration, means of communication and the health system. In addition it also includes the analysis of the nature of online sociability in relation to the formation and maintenance of virtual communities.
